“The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) is still processing most DACA renewal requests within the goal of 120 days.

They encourage DACA recipients to apply for renewal between 4 to 5 months before their current DACA expires to avoid any gaps in their status.

You can apply for renewal online or by mail. If you apply online, you must create a USCIS online account.

The fees for Form I-821D remain the same, but the fee for Form I-765 has increased to $520, with a $50 discount if you file online.

Processing times for DACA renewals have been around 1 to 2 months. However, some people have experienced delays due to technical issues, which USCIS says they are working to resolve within the next month or so.

If your renewal has been pending for more than 105 days, you can inquire about its status online.

USCIS also considers expedite requests on a case-by-case basis. For more information, visit the USCIS website.
